“Influence” is a visual reflection on meaning and self-location.
Countless lines cut across the image, flashing from outside to inside, from top to bottom—eventually converging in a small, inconspicuous triangle at the center of the lower part of the composition.

This triangle symbolizes the self—the point that perceives itself at the center of its own awareness. Everything in the image seems to concentrate on this point. Each line acts like an impulse, an influence striking one’s own existence from the outside.

And yet, what seemed so significant at the center dissolves, from a distance, into its surroundings. The triangle blends into a system that would exist even without it.

“Influence” plays with this duality: the inner experience of relevance and the outer observation of simultaneity. It reflects on how we relate everything around us back to ourselves—and yet remain just one line in a network, which others in turn relate back to themselves.
