The entrance area of the London Art Fair's Encounters hall hosts the site-specific creation "Upstream", exploring the profound question: Are humans doomed to fail?Streams are formed when many small flows begin to merge together and swell into one large stream. These currents consist of countless particles that compete with and influence each other, creating a vacuum that forces the entire flow in one direction. The stream continues to move. During this process, it absorbs particles and becomes increasingly powerful. The ever growing stream floods the system from which it feeds, inevitably unbalancing it, threatening to destroy itself.
